We know, we can’t seem to get off the subject of “candidate experience during the hiring process” lately with our recent blog posts, but there’s a reason for that! It is so important to create a candidate experience that reflects your strive for excellent customer service. Candidates that have a negative experience affect your employment brand more than you might think. The power of social media, referrals, and consumerism will directly impact a company’s brand if they are not careful with how their candidates are treated.
Companies should start asking internally how and why their hiring steps are flawed. Talented job seekers have their choices, so companies need to start paying attention to how they are treated during the hiring process. Their employment brand depends on it.
